N·a·n·a·i·m·o Diamonds

Coach Kiana has been with the Nanaimo Diamonds since 2012, first as an athlete and now as a coach. A kinesiology student at Vancouver Island University (VIU), Kiana brings a wealth of experience to her coaching role and was the head coach for the Zone 6 2024 BC Games Artistic Swimming team. Kiana holds certifications as a provincial stream coach and technical controller and is currently completing additional training to become a level one judge and a national stream level coach.

Coach Jess is entering her 4th season as a coach with the Nanaimo Diamonds. She swam with the Nanaimo Diamonds at the Provincial Stream level for many years, earning numerous provincial titles in team, duet, and figure events, including a gold medal in the team event at the 2016 BC Summer Games. Jess continued her swimming career with Victoria Artistic Swimming at the National Stream level season, where she qualified for the top 16 in BC and trained with Team BC before cutting her training short due to injuries. Jess began her coaching career in 2022 and served as assistant coach at the 2024 BC Summer Games, leading the team to a bronze medal. She is AquaGO and Competition Introduction trained, actively working toward full certification.

Coach Hannah is a Competition Development Certified Coach and was the 2022 Canadian Senior Solo Champion (gold). Coach Hannah brings a wealth of experience, both as an accomplished athlete and coach. She led Team BC at the 2019 Canada Games and served as the CSG Zone 6 Head Coach in 2022. With a coaching philosophy focused on inspiring growth, acting with grace, and embracing every learning opportunity, Coach Hannah is also the Team BC Assistant Coach for the 2025 Canada Summer Games.
