Artistic Swimming in Nanaimo

The cost is $260 + $36 insurance and an NDASC membership fee of $50 (from Sept 2024 – August 2025). Thursdays from 5 pm – 6 pm at Beban Park Pool. 10 sessions – Sessions run September – December, January – March and April – June.

The cost is $250/month + $53 insurance and $50 NDASC Membership. Sunday from 4 pm – 6 pm and Wednesday from 5 pm – 6:30 pm. Start October 6, 2024, through May 2025, however, athletes may join through January 2025. This involves a training meeting in February (in Nanaimo) and one competition in May also in Nanaimo so there is no travel involved.

The cost is $390/month + $145 insurance and $50 NDASC Membership (insurance and memberships are one time per season). This year we are using a team coaching format and all teams will have at least two coaches this year, which provides a really awesome opportunity for athletes to learn from a variety of coaches.

Athletes can swim up into another age group but not down. All athletes must compete in the figure event. The team event is FREE Team (3:00 min), with a min of 4 athletes and a max of 8 athletes plus alternates (2). Selection to this team is based on the age of the athlete as of December 31, 2025.

Teams can be FREE &/or TECHNICAL. TECH is shorter (2:50 min) however has required technical elements which all athletes must excel in. FREE is longer (3:30 min) than TECH with no required elements. With a minimum of 4 athletes and a maximum of 8 athletes plus alternates (2). Selection to this team is based on the age of the athlete as of December 31. 2025.
